It's because of these people that the shop works so hard to contribute any way it can towards a better life for everyone who lives here in Hamilton.
The shop put a huge emphasis on mental health and making sure it is a place where those with not-so-great mental health can come without judgement or bias.
The shop environment is kept at a level where there isn't loud music or loud tattoo machines as to not overwhelm any clients with sensory sensitivities.
Vagabond Saints Tattoo Lounge is devoid of homophobia, transphobia, racism, and misogyny. If those are a part of who you are, you are free to kick rocks and go to where that shit is accepted.
Vagabond Saints Tattoo Lounge is a mental health SafeSpace through a pilot program with St. Joseph's Hospital. The program was initiated in 2016 with the help of funding from The Trillium Foundation.
Our staff are trained in Suicide SafeTalks.
Naloxone on is kept site. Both nasal and injectable.
Every winter holiday season the shop conducts an annual donation drive to collect clothing, toys, and food for those in need at Hamilton's Interval House.
The door is always open to help anybody who needs it within our capacity.
The shop provides free menstrual products in our non-gendered washroom for anyone who needs them.
The washroom is also available for anyone who is in need of it.
The shop is always welcoming of being a space to use for any organization or event.
